When Seth MacFarlane came to Fox with "Family Guy," he started a revolution with edgy cartoons that pushed politically correct content out the window. The creator is at it again with his new animated comedy, "Bordertown," which has just released a new sneak peek into the series.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the new clip gives enough reason for fans of MacFarlane to be hooked on this new show. Although he did not create the series, he has signed on as an executive producer, and the video clearly shows that the content is right out of his old playbook.

The series takes place in Mexifornia, a fictional U.S. state that clearly parodies the reality of border states and U.S. sentiment toward Mexico in recent days.

In the show, a Mexican family and a white American family are neighbors. They encounter a unique blend of scenarios that act as the basis for the comedy, but in nearly all cases, the show does not hold back for political correctness.

Some of the one-liners in the preview show just how easy it is for someone to be racist or anti-immigrant, without even knowing it. But at the same time, the negative assumptions flow in both directions, as members of both families narrow-mindedly let their mouths run without thinking about the consequences.

The unique aspect of the show is that, even though they let those offensive statements out, they simply move past them as if they held no weight, and they seem to live in perfect harmony with each other.

Ernesto and Bud are the patriarchs of their respective families. Ernesto is an optimistic Mexican man who seems to look for a path through everything. Bud is a pessimistic border patrol agent who sometimes finds it hard to get by.

The show premieres on Sunday on Fox at 9:30 p.m. ET.
