Latin music superstar Ricky Martin revealed that, though he is a gay man, he isn't opposed to being intimate with women.

According to TVyNovelas, Martin discussed his sexuality with Mexican magazine Fama! and revealed he does not like to be labeled.

"I know that I like both men and women, I'm against sexual labels, we are simply human beings with emotional and sexual needs," he explained.

However, those open to using labels shouldn't be so quick to start assuming that this means that the "La Mordidita" singer is bisexual.

"I am gay, men fascinate me, but I like to enjoy sex in total freedom, so I'm open to having sex with a woman if I feel desire," said Martin.

Despite being open to sexual encounters with women, he specified that would not take it further.

"Men are my thing," he said, when explaining why he wouldn't enter a relationship with a woman.

Martin was recently the subject of relationship rumors. He and Spanish singer Pablo Alborán have been speculated to be more than friends. However, neither Martin nor Alborán have denied or confirmed the rumors.

In fact, Martin has been very quiet about his love life since his split from boyfriend Carlos González Abella back in January 2014. The two dated for three years.

A few months after the split, Martin revealed that if he could come out as a gay man again he would because he felt moment "was very blissful," reported Daily Mail.

"It really feels amazing and then when it happens you realise all your fears were in your head," he said. "At least the amount of support I received not only from the media, obviously my fans, my family was amazing and unfortunately society just pushes us to believe that out feelings are evil."

The 44-year-old also added his two sons, Matteo and Valentino, contributed to his choice to come out back in 2010, citing honesty and wanting them to be proud of him for who he is as reasons.
