The official list of free games available for PS Plus members coming this February 2016 has been released. Here are the details.

Right on schedule, Sony released the lineup of PS Plus free games for February 2016 on its PlayStation US blog on Wednesday.

Despite earlier rumors that either "Crypt of the Necrodancer" or "Not a Hero" could be headliners -- not a bad guess, since both titles have a release date on Feb. 2, the same day as the PS Plus free games selection -- instead PlayStation is offering "Helldivers" and "Nom Nom Galaxy" as the two free games for the PlayStation 4.

"This month you can protect Super Earth in an intergalactic war while feeding soup to aliens!" enthused PlayStation's blog announcing the selection of free downloads for next month.

The spacey theme for February's PS4 selection spans from a critically-praised chaotic shooter set in a satirical, dystopian future, to a genre-blending indie title where the main objective is to become something like the Donald Trump of a galactic soup empire.

Along with a free download of Helldivers, PlayStation is throwing in the "Democracy Strikes Back" expansion released in October, and the game is truly a cross-buy, available for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita.

PlayStation 3 players will also have access to "Grid Autosport" and "Personal 4 Arena Ultimax" starting next Tuesday, while PlayStation Vita gets "Lemmings Touch" and "Nova 111."

The full lineup will be available on February 2, replacing January's lineup that included "Grim Fandango Remastered" and "Hardware Rivals" -- so you have less than a week now to download those titles for free.

While getting "Crypt" for free on its PlayStation 4 release date would have been awesome, so far there are very few complaints about what turned out to be February's actual headliner, "Helldivers."
