The viral video of a Texas mom celebrating her new Chewbacca mask has now truly hit new proportions.

After racking up more than 140 million views of Facebook, Candace Payne's exploits hit new dimensions by virtue of her sharing a ride with "Star Wars" director J.J. Abrams as she drives CBS "Late Late Show" host James Corden to the office.

In a sketch that aired on a recent episode, Payne plays with her new toy while an agitated Corden complains from the passenger seat about being late for work.

"I have got to get to work," he complains. "Is there any way we can leave now?"

Payne Happy to be Chewbacca

A radiant Payne then beams, "I'm such a happy Chewbacca," before again bursting into laughter.

As the two then go back and forth about the authenticity of her Chewbacca voice, Abrams suddenly appears to offer Payne a bit of advice about perfecting her Wookiee impression.

Corden Joins in the fun

With that, not even Corden can't continue his annoyed and grump act, bursting into laughter and sharing in the fun.

Corden later shares his stage with the Dallas mom, where she reflects on what prompted her to make the video that has made her such a household name.

"I'm a stay-at-home mom," she said. "I only had a few minutes before I had to go get my kids from school. I wanted to prove to all my Facebook friends and family that that mask was mine."

Payne adds she knew she only had a little time, admitting that she knew her two kids would claim the mask as their own as soon as they laid eyes on it.

"And I'm like, 'I didn't buy it for you, little kids,' she said. "I love you, but this isn't for you"

Later, Corden shared a message with Payne that directly came from Peter Mayhew, the actor who actually starred as Chewbacca.

Besides praising her for the "enjoy the little things" theme she delivered in her video, he went on invite her to join him at a fan expo in her hometown so the two can officially meet.
