Prime Time Fall TV Shows Roundup for September 2016 – New Season Premiere & Release Dates for ‘Once Upon a Time,’ ‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ ‘Law & Order: SVU,’ ‘Empire’ and More

After binge watching the previous season of some of prime time TV’s most popular shows, take a look at the new season premieres for September 2016. Some of TV’s favorite shows are coming back on tonight, Wednesday Sept. 21, like NBC’s “Blindspot,” and “Law & Order: SVU.”

TV Shows on NBC

Catch up with Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) and Shepherd (Michelle Hurd) in the “Blindspot” Season 3 premiere on Wednesday Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

At 9 p.m. ET watch Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) solve a case after a toddler points a gun at her in the “Law & Order: SVU” Season 13 premiere. Will she make it out of the park unharmed? Or will she get shot?

For more cop action, check out the “Chicago P.D.” Season 4 premiere at 10 p.m. ET where you’ll see Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) and Erin Lindsay (Sophia Bush) making big decisions about their future.

But if you’re in for a laugh, you might want to turn to ABC for the “Modern Family” Season 8 premiere on Wednesday Sept. 21 at 9 p.m. ET where the Dunphy’s and Prichett’s are back home from vacation and dealing with big life transitions. While the Johnsons are going on a Disney trip for the “Black-ish” Season 3 premiere at 9:30 p.m. ET.

Grey’s Anatomy” Season 13 premieres Thursday Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC where the doctors will work on one of their own while Dr. Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) figure out his relationship with Jo (Camilla Luddington).

Empire” is all new Wednesday Sept. 21 at 9 p.m. ET where Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) is back to his old ways while the family tries to keep their music company running successfully as they fight the demons from their past.
