Jeremy Lin's future is still uncertain. So far, there's still no word on Lin's official team for the upcoming 2013-14 season, and rumors are still swirling of a possible trade for the player.

As of now, J. Lin is still under the Houston Rockets' wings, and he is only on his first year of serving his three-year, $25 million contract with the team. But with the Rockets' acquisition of mighty center Dwight Howard, it seems that the former Harvard standout is losing his place in the roster.

Linsanity proved his mad skills two seasons ago when he played for the New York Knicks. After performing amazingly in the 2011-12 season and helping the team win consecutive games, he seemed to be the perfect addition to the rebuilding Rockets. But since joining the Texas team, he has shown average play. And with the addition of Howard in the team, the need for a Jeremy Lin on court has diminished -- James Harden will be first pick for PG and Howard will be a main point producer.

This analysis pushes people to think that Houston will be saying goodbye to the three-year point guard.

Rumors strengthened after Houston Rockets reporter Bill Ingram, tweeted that the team is really looking to trade Lin.

"A source with direct knowledge of the situation confirms Rockets working hard to move Jeremy Lin ... very limited interest for teams," Ingram tweeted.

So far, three teams have constantly floated in the rumor mill: Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers. No team has confirmed the rumors yet.
