The Houston Rockets' guard, James Harden, and the Toronto Raptor's guard, DeMar DeRozan were named today as NBA Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week for the games played Monday, November 7 through Sunday, November 13. DeRozan has been helping the Raptors win the  three consecutive games last week and so is Harden contributed to Rocket to have a record of 2-1.

The Raptors was lead by DeRozan to a 3-0 week and with a scoring average of 34.7 points with 4.3 assists and 4.7 rebounds. DeRozan scored 37 points, 6 assists ad 4 rebounds in an 112-102, a win against Oklahoma City Thunder last November 9. He then followed the last performance having 34 points, two steals, three assists in an 113-111 win against the Charlotte Hornets on November 11. DeMar has an NBA-Best 8 thirty-point game in this season and leads the NBA in scoring with 34.0 ppg, he is still the first player to a score of at least 30 points in 8 of his first 9 games of a season since Michael Jordan did in 1986-1987.

James Harden helped Rockets to have a standing of the 2-1 week behind averages of 27.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 14.3 assists which is first in NBA. Harden finished the November 7 games having 32 points, 6 rebound, and 15 assists in an 114-106, a victory against the Washington Wizards, he then added a triple-double, recording a 24 points, 12 rebounds and 15 assists on November 9, a win against the San Antonio Spurs. James Harden has recorded the longest streak in NBA history having 24 points, 12 assists in each within the past six games.
