"Deadpool" Director Tim Miller has declined to return to direct the sequel to the hit anti-hero movie. Miller's desire to free himself from further involvement in the movie's creation was revealed in October to  be due to creative differences with producer and lead actor Ryan Reynolds. Reynolds, however, has always been silent on the issue between him and Miller.

The two had some heated battles behind the scenes of the movie - specifically with Miller in the editing room when thefinal cut was being made. Reynolds did a thorough interview with GQ regarding the development of Deadpool, which only unraveled the Reynolds-Miller clash.

Reynolds knew exactly what he wanted the comic book movie to be and that didn't coincide at all with the perception and vision of Tim, which led to the use of some harsh words. The actor openly discussed and stated a brief statement on the matter: "All I can really add is that I'm sad to see him off the film." He added that Miller has worked more than he did in the movie.

The statement of the actor doesn't add any to the first narrative that has been reported, but it does add up to the positive idea that Miller and Reynolds have parted ways on the movie project without bad blood. According to Cinema Blend, Reynolds wanted to add more to Deadpool's raunchy sense of humor but Tim wanted to give more attention on enhancing the anti-hero's visual flair. That, alongside their disagreement over who should play the character of Cable.

Miller wanted Kyle Chandler as Cable but Reynolds wanted to keep searching for other candidates. Meanwhile, Miller still maintains the strong relationship between him and 20th Century Fox. The report suggested that there are other candidates for Miller's replacement in the movie and that includes the name of David Leitch, but Century Fox have yet to reveal any official information about it.

For now, Millet is currently slated to direct the forthcoming science-ficiton movie "Influx."
