Recently, apple cider has been quoted as having lots of benefits to the human system.

Based on Healthline report, apple cider has been used as disinfectant since the ancient times. It can help in preventing itching of the scalp and psoriasis. This may be the reason why it is now associated in curing psoriasis at present.

In the late 18th century, there were doctors that have used apple cider to treat other skin diseases such as poison ivy. Well, there are lots of natural remedies founded with the old practices from the old times. There were also some evidences which support apple cider vinegar as a cure for psoriasis and other diseases. However, there are no enough scientific proof for its consistency.

Meanwhile in a report of Medical News Today, many people interchange eczema and psoriasis. These two skin diseases are general terms and may have similar symptoms as well. Eczema is caused by an inflammation which results to itchy, red, and dry skin. Children are mostly to suffer from this skin disease but adults could also experience it. On the other hand, psoriasis is caused by an overactive immune system and this is a chronic skin condition. Flaking, inflammation, thick, white or silvery, or red patches of the skin are the symptoms of psoriasis.

With this overview on psoriasis, apple cider can truly be a remedy for the treatment of psoriasis for some degree only. Healthline has some guidelines on how to use apple cider properly. This apple cider vinegar should not be used for open wounds. Allergic reaction can happen as it may irritate the skin. Also, drinking this may slowly remove the tooth enamel.

On the other hand, apple cider is good in treating scalp psoriasis. This can be diluted or mized with water if burning sensation is felt by the person. In addition, apple cider can help in soothing sore throat, curing hiccups, reducing leg cramps, and  a lot more.

Overall, apple cider has lots of benefits but everyone should be guided by the specialists.
