This decade is when films about games in arcade and computers were also featured in the big screen. Now, one of the latest is the "Rampage" video game that escalated in the 80's wherein Dwayne Johnson has been chosen to play a key role.

Director Brad Peyton talks about some of the monsters Rampage the movie will feature. The crew also revealed some more others that the upcoming video game-inspired film adaptation is set to present.

According to IGN, Brad Peyton detailed what the viewers shall expect on the Rampage movie. In his interview, Peyton said that the three original monsters are part of the movie and these are the lizard, the ape and the wolf.

Peyton cited his "love of the original game" that inspired him to include the three monsters in the Rampage movie. He expects the inclusionto deliver as much as the San Andreas movie he also directed with Dwayne Johnson.

Movie Web wrote that Payton added, "it's going to be a lot more emotional, a lot scarier and a lot more real than you'd expect. So you look at that original concept about a lab that affects these animals and makes them rampage, and that's the nugget."

Payton is staying true with the "monsters" genre and said that the work he's done with Incarnate has been a great help to the ideas that could be input to the upcoming film.

The Rampage crew is initially expected to start filming at the end of this year, but was pushed to a latter date due to Dwayne Johnson's commitment with Fast and Furious 8 and Jumanji film.

Rampage is a 1980's video game wherein the players select one of the three monsters: Lizzy, Ralph and George, with a sole mission to destroy several cities.

The film is expected to roll in worldwide cinemas starting April 20, 2018.
