Hulu finally added the "Mobile Suit Gundam" to their offerings. The online streaming site is set to release this week not just one but five anime series from the franchise. The "Gundam 00," "Gundam Wing," "Gundam: The Origin," "Gundam: The 08th MS Team," and "Gundam Seed."

On Monday, Hulu started streaming the anime series and it will all be available in both Japanese and English audio to subscribers. But all the forty-eight episodes of "Mobile Suit Gundam Seed" remastered will only be available in Japanese and English subtitles, Anime News Network has reported.

As the competition among other mega online streaming sites like Funimation and Crunchyroll continues to be so tight. Hulu made a swift move in adding the ever popular anime "Gundam" franchise into its roster. Starting Feb 20, the site has started to release the "Gundam 00," and "Gundam Seed Remaster."

According to Comicbook, the drastic move of Hulu has given the U.S anime viewers another option. According to Streaming Observer, claimed that the "Mobile Suit Gundam" will only be made available and legally viewed in the United States through home released.

It cannot be denied that the "Mobile Suit Gundam" was a very successful Japanese anime back in time. Back to back hits from the old time that resulted in a several movies made and series of follow-ups. Everybody loved the popular franchise, as it is an action-packed adventure and people's curiosity ignited since the story arc of the series is about future.

Hulu is now very confident that with the "Gundam" franchise, the online streaming hopes to garner more fans. As the franchise remained to be on top for several years and the anime always scored high in every response and poll participation.

The move of Hulu just gives the U.S viewers and anime lovers an additional option due to franchise's strict rule. According to Streaming Observer, the anime fans and viewers can only legally view the franchise in the U.S through release home. So the anime lover can choose either a DVD format or a Blu-ray format produced by Right Stuf.
