Now that Nintendo Switch is finally announced, numerous sources point out to flaws and possible drawbacks for the now-in-production home console from Nintendo. The Switch console that's expected to cost as much as their competitors from Sony and Microsoft, is also selling their accessories for a separate price.

As reported earlier, the Nintendo Switch will link online purchases to a single account that wasn't the case with their other Nintendo products. That said, details from Ars Technica believe that the Switch will not support game downloads to multiple switches at the same time. With what seems to be a possible security feature, this is also one of the most horrific news new buyers might discover.

Not everyone can manage to download the titles multiple times with the data themselves extending in gigabytes. The report revealed the answer was discovered when one of the potential buyers questioned a Nintendo employee about the same. It's saddening to learn when a recent hardware release pretty much fails to suit itself with the latest environments.

Seems like Nintendo doesn't have such a system in place but the answer vaguely revealed that such an update might be coming soon in the near future.

This might one of the primary reasons for console owners to pretty much stick to their existing consoles if it poses to be a major problem since data costs are expensive. While the game only links purchases to a single account, the fact that it cannot be downloaded on multiple devices might be concerning to new buyers as pointed out by VG247. Nintendo Switch will need a consistent data connection too.

While the latter is acceptable, the lack of an available feature to play games from multiple devices might be the biggest limitation discovered yet. The device, on the other hand, is expected to be launched on Mar. 03. Nintendo also dropped prices for the Switch developer kits to US$450.
