PlayStation Plus subscribers are eagerly waiting for Sony to reveal the PlayStation Plus March 2017 free games. With only several days left in February, the announcement is expected to occur anytime from now.

According to the Inquisitr, the PlayStation Plus March 2017 free games will likely include the games in a combination of AAA titles and indie games. "SteamWorld Heist," "Alienation," "Abzu," "Killzone: Shadow Fall" and "Fat Princess Adventures" could be some of those games.

On a different note, Sony's PlayStation Store is currently hosting a sale of its best games for 2016. According to PlayStation Universe, the Critic's Choice Sale, which will run until February 28, 2017. This will offer huge discounts on popular titles which include "Inside," "Darkest Dungeon" and "Titanfall 2." 

"SteamWorld Heist" is a turn-based strategy action shooter game, which is developed by Image & Form. This is the third game in Swedish developer's SteamWorld series, which was first released in 2010. Players will most like see these games included in the PlayStation Plus March 2017 free games.

"Alienation," on the other hand, is Housemarque's shooter and role-playing game that was released for PlayStation 4 in April 2016. The players' mission in the game is simple i.e. to defend Earth from the conquering alien species.

Meanwhile, Giant Squid Studios' "Abzu" is an adventure video game where players explore the underwater world. The indie game was first released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows on August last year. 

Another possible game in the PlayStation Plus March 2017 free games will be the first-person shooter video game, "Killzone: Shadow Fall." The sixth game of the Killzone series from Guerrilla Games was released in the year 2013. Lastly, Fun Bits Interactive's "Fat Princess Adventures" is a popular choice for many. The original action role-playing video game has gained mostly positive reviews since its debut in December 2015.

PlayStation Plus members can avail up to 70 percent discounts on a variety of games, while the non-subscribers are being offered up to 60 percent off. For an example, "Inside," which normally sells for about $20 is on sale for $7.99.
