The "Guardians Of the Galaxy Vol.2" released its third and final trailer and shocking seems like an understatement.  Apart from the usual action and comedy dosage, for the first time, ever fans got to see who Peter Quill's dad is.

According to Variety, legendary actor, Kurt Russell appeared in the last second in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" latest trailer and shocked the viewers with his single dialogue. He admitted to Chris Pratt's character Peter Quill that he is indeed his father, automatically making him the Ego the Living Planet.

Ego is for obvious reasons is looking like a normal human being in "The Guardian of the Galaxy Vol.2". In the comics, though the character is literally a giant talking purple planet.

Elsewhere in the trailer fans witnessed the new members of the Guardians gang, namely Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Nebula (Karen Gillan) and Ravager Yondu (Michael Rooker). There is a hint of possible romance between Peter and Gamora. Baby Groot is cute like always while Rocket is a complete savage. Bautista's Drax is, as usual, clueless but bada**.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Scottish actress Karen Gillan announced that her character Nebula will make an appearance in "Avengers: Infinity War". Gillian explained that that "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2" is funnier, better and a total blinder.

"In the first one everyone was being established," The Hollywood Reporter quoted Gillian. "Now that that's out of the way, you really get to delve into all of their dilemmas and things like that. I think 'family' would really be the main theme of the thing."

The actress further added that fans will get to see a whole new side of her character Nebula in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2". This side is much more human and viewers will understand how bad and difficult her daddy issues are. "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2" will hit the theaters on May 5, 2017.
