Samsung has all set the launch date for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus on March 29, and it's just weeks away from all the official details. However, running up to it, leaks have started flowing at a rapid pace and the latest bout brings pricing information. If these leaks turn to be true, then the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will be much more expensive than their predecessors, something that has been reported earlier as well.

According to Digit Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are expected to come with 5.8-inches and 6.2-inches Super AMOLED displays variants. The listing reveals that the devices are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. As far as camera's concern there is a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is speculated to be launch with dedicated Bixby AI assistant. There are also rumors of Samsung introducing a Desktop Dock that will turn the Galaxy S8 into an Android desktop computer.

As per Gadgets 360, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge was priced much lower at EUR 639 on launch. However, MobileFun's pre-order price may just be a placeholder and will not indicative of the original price of the device. Presumably, the Galaxy S8+ will be even more expensive than the Galaxy S8 given that it offers more display real estate and a bigger battery.

The listing indicates that the Galaxy S8 will come with a 3000 mAh battery, while the larger S8+ offers 3500 mAh battery. The listed specifications of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are similar to previous leaks about the phone. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ with 64GB storage are listed at £799 (Rs. 64,838 approx) and £899 (Rs. 72,953 approx) respectively. The pricing of the new launches seems to be on the higher side considering that the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge were launched at £549 and £639 respectively.
