"Valkyria Revolution" is the sequel to Sega's "Valkyria Chronicles" and it will be out in North America starting June 27. The game will be available on the PlayStation 4, PS Vita and Xbox One. It will also have a European release on June 30.

According to GameSpot, "Valkyria Revolution" will both have physical and digital releases on the PS4 and Xbox One. PS Vita players will only be able to get the game via digital downloads. Those who want a copy of the game can purchase it for about $40 for all its versions.

The outlet adds that Sega will also be releasing a special edition called Vanargand. It will be limited for those who will pre-order "Valkyria Revolution" before its release this coming June.

The Vanargand Edition in the US of "Valkyria Revolution" will include a soundtrack CD containing 12 songs. The limited edition also includes a special box and a pin featuring the coat of arms. Unfortunately, European players will only be able to get the CD for those who preordered the game.

Polygon reports that "Valkyria Revolution" will differ from Sega's "Valkyria Chronicles." While the upcoming game will still be a role-playing game, its gameplay will both have strategy tactics with melee and spells while achieving the objectives of the game.

"Valkyria Revolution" will see Princess Ophelia once again as she joins the revolution. She, along with the Vanargand must stick together to quell the Ruzi Empire and the Valkyria. The elite soldiers are well-armed with mana and spells to help defeat the impending threat. Players will get to find out if the allegiance of Vanargand's high officer, Amleth is to Jutland or to the enemy.

A demo of "Valkyria Revolution" was held in the Tokyo Game Show 2016. A release trailer of the game has also been released. You can watch it below.
