Tina Fey, Jason Bateman and Jane Fonda are all working together in the new film "This Is Where I Leave You."

This is your first look at the trailer (below), what the film is all about and who is involved in this project. "This is Where I Leave You" is coming out in the fall of this year, on Sept. 12. Warner Bros. released the first trailer last week.

The story centers around four grown siblings whose father has just died. All of them have grown apart over the years, and their father's last wish before he died was that all of them live in the family home together for one week. In this family chaotic comedy, there is an oversharing mother, the nerdy and loser brothers, and a collection of spouses, exes and what-ifs.

Fonda plays the oversharing mother who just had breast implants; and Bateman, Fey, Corey Stoll ("House of Cards") and Adam Driver ("Girls") play Fonda's adult children. The funeral and trip to see the family could not come at a worst time for Bateman's Judd because he has just found out that his wife was cheating on him with his boss, played by Dax Shepard ("Parenthood").

This film is directed by Shawn Levy, director of "Date Night," in which Fey starred. This too is Fey and Bateman's second time working together. The pair was in Ricky Gervais' "The Invention of Lying." The pair have more scenes together this time around.

"This Is Where I Leave You" is based off the Jonathan Tropper novel of the same name, and the story is very similar, Variety reported. Levy is directing from a screenplay adapted by Tropper.

This film almost went into production last year with director Adam Shankman, and there was an entirely different cast. The cast had included Zac Efron and Goldie Hawn, but Bateman stayed on the project, Yahoo Movies reported.

The two lines in the trailer expressed by Bateman and Fey sort of sets the tone of the film. After Bateman wallows in self pity at the loss of his father, as well as the loss of his marriage, Fey tells him, "Starting over is complicated, and you don't do complicated, Judd. You never have." Bateman attempts to counter her argument by saying, "I've been chasing this idea about a perfect life, but life is unpredictable and irrational and complicated, and I want a complicated life," E! News reported.

"The Is Where I Leave You" also stars Rose Byrne, Connie Britton and Timothy Olyphant.
