Three celebrity-authored books are scheduled to come out, and they vary from a murder, struggles with sexuality, to finding "true love."

One of the "celebrity" authored books is written by classic author Sophie Hannah who is penning an Agatha Christie novel. And, the other two are by Jennifer Lopez who drops a new memoir; and by Neil Patrick Harris who is set to release an interactive adventure style book.

In a classic murder mystery genre, enter Hercule Poirot, the beloved character of the British author Agatha Christie. Hannah, who is an author of six mystery novels, embarks on a new book with Poirot in "The Monogram Murders," Entertainment Weekly reported. The mystery novel is scheduled to be released on Sept. 9. The Agatha Christie Estate approved the book.

The novel takes place in 1929, with Poirot dining alone at a London coffee shop. A woman arrives with sheer fright and worry on her face. Poirot tries to console her, but she reveals to him that "no one can help her, that she is already dead." She then escapes into the night. Poirot then enlists the help of Inspector Edward Catchpool, a Scotland Yard detective. Later that night, the intrepid pair find two women and a man poisoned in a hotel near Piccadilly Circus, and each have a monogrammed gold cuff link stuffed in their mouths, Publisher's Weekly reported.

For a different taste, Jennifer Lopez is penning her first memoir "True Love," and it is scheduled to be released on Oct. 28 in both English and Spanish simultaneously. Lopez has stated that the this new project did not start off as her wanting to "bare her soul in print," People.com reported. It had started as a diary when Lopez went on tour for a year. But as time progressed, and the more Lopez wrote, the more the diary became something else.

"I really surprised myself, and I realized, oh my god, I'm writing this book," Lopez said.

The publisher of Lopez's book, Penguin imprint Celebra, has described it as "a revealing personal diary," that the memoir follows the journey of Lopez's last two years, as an artist and mother, while confronting some of her greatest obstacles. The journey ultimately made her stronger. The memoir is expected to contain never-before-seen photos. Also a portion of the memoir's proceeds are expected to go to The Lopez Family Foundation, its aim is to better the health of women and children.

For something more adventurous and interactive, Neil Patrick Harris' autobiography might be your speed. Harris revealed on his Twitter the cover of "Choose Your Own Autobiography." Crown will be publishing it on Oct. 14. The book's blurb warns that this might seem lighthearted but you should proceed with caution: if you choose correctly and you'll find fame, fortune, and true love; if you "choose incorrectly, you'll find misery, heartbreak, and a guest stint on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew." The book also includes magic tricks and drink recipes, among other things.

Another aspect of the book talks about "You will be born in New Mexico. You will get your big break at an acting camp," E! reported. And that you will, perhaps, have a strange encounter with actor Scott Caan, and you will spend a long time struggling with your sexuality.

Happy reading.
