In a pivotal moment during the ongoing disqualification case against Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, Terrence Bradley, a crucial witness, appeared to backtrack on Tuesday regarding the timeline of Willis' relationship with prosecutor Nathan Wade.

Bradley, who is Wade's former law partner and divorce attorney, faced intense questioning from former President Donald Trump's attorney in an attempt to establish a connection between Willis and Wade before the racketeering case, according to Forbes.

Fani Willis Case Star Witness Terrence Bradley's Uncertain Testimony

During the one-hour testimony, Bradley repeatedly asserted that he lacked knowledge about when Willis and Wade began their relationship.

He emphasized, "I do not have knowledge of when it started or when it started." Bradley consistently stated that he could not recall specific dates or details concerning the inception of their relationship, frustrating efforts to establish a clear timeline.

Defense attorney Ashleigh Merchant, leading the disqualification effort, probed Bradley on whether the relationship began by January 2021, to which Bradley maintained his lack of recollection.

Merchant remarked, "Judge, he doesn't remember much of anything right now."

The courtroom observation by CNN's Nick Valencia noted Judge Scott McAfee marking instances where Bradley couldn't provide answers.

Bradley's prior text exchanges with Merchant, indicating that Fani Willis and Wade's relationship began in 2019, were highlighted by Steven H. Sadow, Trump's lawyer.

Sadow questioned Bradley on why he speculated in those texts.

Fani Willis case star witness, Terrence Bradley, responded that he couldn't recall the reason for his earlier assertions and clarified that he had been merely speculating.

Intriguingly, Judge McAfee is delving into the financial aspects of the prosecutors' relationship, exploring records from Delta Air Lines regarding shared vacation costs.

This adds another layer to the case, indicating the judge's meticulous examination of details surrounding Willis and Wade.

Upcoming Hearing and Evidence

Another Fani Willis case hearing is scheduled for Friday, where phone records obtained through a subpoena may be presented, The New York Times reports.

Sadow claims these records show nearly 12,000 calls and text messages between Willis and Wade in the first 11 months of 2021, preceding Wade's hiring.

Additionally, cellphone location data has been mentioned, suggesting Wade's presence near Willis's residence during specific hours.

However, Willis's office contends that such data does not conclusively prove Wade's location.

A key witness, Robin Yeartie, who previously claimed the romance started before Wade was hired, faces scrutiny regarding her credibility. Yeartie, a former friend of Willis, left the D.A.'s office on bad terms, raising questions about potential biases.

In a dramatic testimony earlier this month, Willis vehemently defended her conduct and the case against Trump. She asserted that the romantic relationship ended before Trump's indictment in August and rejected attempts to put her on trial.

Fani Willis emphasized the seriousness of the charges against Trump and co-defendants, accusing them of attempting to steal the 2020 election.

Judge McAfee has indicated that he will not make an immediate ruling, extending the anticipation for a decision until next week at the earliest.

The Fani Willis case remains a focal point, with each development shedding light on the intricacies of relationships, legal ethics, and the potential impact on the high-stakes prosecution.
