Apple has failed to satisfy consumers waiting for a new Mac computer announcement at its keynote event last Tuesday (Sept. 10).

Apple had many fans waiting for its big announcement earlier this week at its Cupertino, Ca. headquarters. Many were waiting for the new iPhone, while others were eager to hear when the company will be releasing the new MacBook Pro - especially after Apple teased about the laptop at the World Wide Developers Conference last June.

However, while the tech giant confirmed the release of two new iPhones, it didn't note any launch date for the new MacBook Pro which leaves many wondering when will Apple make the release.

The MacBook Air had its upgrade last June, when Apple revealed that the new ultra-thin laptop will be packed with a "Haswell" processor. Reports say that the unannounced new Pro may also get the fourth generation processor. Christian Today also notes that Apple may take after the iMac in 2012 and take out the laptop's optical drive as well.

Currently, the MacBook Pro features a retina display, flash storage, 30-day standby time (or 7 hours of Internet usage) and dual-core or quad-core processor. It also boasts of updated graphic chips, multi-touch trackpad and a backlit keyboard for dark environments. Should Apple follow the MacBook Air's footsteps, the Pro could also include several updates that the thinner laptop has seen. These include longer battery life (up to 12 hours), a "Haswell" processor, better connecting ports and HD resolution FaceTime camera.

According to KpopStarz, the new Pro may get an October release for this year. Moreover, the reported also noted that several stores have already slashed the prices of the current MacBook which hints on a new series of the computer coming soon. Christian Today also reports that the iMac may also see an upgrade soon.
