The 2014 NFL season has reached Week 7, and Fantasy Football owners everywhere have to decide which quarterbacks to start. On the other hand, Fantasy Football owners have to decide which quarterbacks to bench.

The quarterback position is widely regarded as the single most important position in Fantasy Football because of the high amount of point they can accumulate.

Here are the best and worst notable quarterback options for Week 7:

Start

Philip Rivers

Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers will face the 2-3 Kansas City Chiefs this week. Although this is an AFC West divisional game, the Chargers will be playing at home. The Chargers are riding a five-game winning streak, and Rivers has been elite. Rivers has 15 touchdowns to just two interceptions this season, and he's making his case for mid-season MVP.

Joe Flacco

Flacco usually doesn't put up Dan Marino-like numbers, but last week he had a five-touchdown performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This week, the Ravens host the 2-4 Atlanta Falcons in Baltimore. The Falcons don't have a great defense, so Flacco, with the help of Steve Smith and Torrey Smith, should have a good day at home.

Ben Roethlisberger

The Pittsburgh Steelers are 3-3 after six games of play, and they know they have to win their Monday Night game against the Houston Texans. The Steelers have rotated wins and losses every game so far this season with a loss last week. Roethlisberger and the Steelers usually get a win when it's needed most. Playing at home at Heinz Field helps as well.

Bench

Drew Brees

The New Orleans Saints have been a big disappointment this season. Drew Brees has throw at least one interception in four of his five games. The Saints are coming off a bye week, but they have to play the No. 1 ranked defensive unit in the Detroit Lions. To make things more difficult, Brees will be playing in Detroit. For some reason, Brees and the Saints struggle on the road more than most teams.

Eli Manning

It's not that Eli Manning is playing terribly, it's just too difficult to get points given the circumstances. Manning will be without his favorite target, Victor Cruz, who is expected to miss the entire season, and the Dallas Cowboys' rushing attack is by far the best in the league. With DeMarco Murray running the ball so effectively, Manning may not be on the field often. Time of possession is a huge factor.

Colin Kaepernick

Kaepernick and the 49ers face the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football. Surprisingly, the Broncos have the No. 4 ranked defense in the NFL. Offseason additions such as T.J. Ward, DeMarcus Ware and Aqib Talib have made a huge difference. Von Miller is also playing great with six sacks on the season. With Peyton Manning and the Broncos' offense putting up so many points, the 49ers will be forced to throw. Kaepernick is known for making big plays, but mistakes as well.
