It seems everyone has an opinion on Chiquis Rivera's career, and the latest to share her opinion is Diana Reyes.

The Mexican singer, who was also one of Jenni Rivera's friends, also talked about Chiquis' career.

"Well, look, I wish her luck and I hope her career is incredible," she said. "I care about her a lot, obviously, and the rest of her family. I really want it to go well for her and that she's successful. And she should enjoy doing what she wants to do in life."

But Reyes knows that Chiquis has to be her own artist.

Chiquis has been compared to her mother since the beginning of her career, and Reyes explained that Chiquis is not the next Jenni Rivera.

"I don't think that anyone will ever be able to fill Jenni Rivera's shoes," she said. "Each person is unique. So neither Chiquis nor any other artist will be able to occupy Jenni Rivera's place."

Chiquis would agree with Reyes.

In August, Chiquis explained that she was so proud to be Jenni's daughter, but she wanted to be seen as more than that. She wants people to see her as her own person as well.

Chiquis believes she should be allowed her own mistakes. She wants to be able to "fall and get up again."

Chiquis, who has already released one of her songs in English, also hopes to try out different musical genres. Her debut album will have a song with Chino y Nacho, and she will try to write songs about a lot of different things.

"I think people will like it, because it will be something very different," she said.

The album will also have things that do define her, such as songs about her mother.

Her album is supposed to drop in November.
