The 2014-15 NBA season already started on Tuesday, which means that the new Fantasy Basketball season is also up and running.

In case you are still planning to join a new fantasy league, here are the top centers that you should consider picking in the draft:

1. DeMarcus Cousins

Cousins is ranked first among natural centers on NBA.com's draft big board and it is not surprising after the 24-year-old posted career-high numbers last season.

The former Kentucky standout averaged career-bests 22.7 points, 11.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.3 blocks and 49.6 percent shooting from the field.

The Sacramento Kings are expected to rely heavily on him this season, which means that his numbers might improve again. One red flag, though, is his temper, which made fantasy owners shake their heads last season because of frequent technical fouls, but the four-year veteran recently vowed not to commit more than five this season.

2. Dwight Howard

Howard is ranked fourth among centers on NBA.com's big board, but most fantasy owners are still convinced that the Houston Rockets center is still the best center in the league today.

Howard averaged 18.3 points on 59.1 percent shooting from the field to go along with 12.2 rebounds and 1.8 blocks last season. He is still an elite fantasy player in terms of points, rebounds, field goal percentage and blocks, but his free-throw shooting remains a huge concern after shooting just 54.7 percent last season.

3. Joakim Noah

Noah made a lot of fantasy owners smile last season with his all-around contributions. The do-it-all center posted 12.6 points and 11.3 rebounds to go along with 5.4 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.2 steals last season.

However, it remains to be seen how Pau Gasol's entry will affect his productions this season. The 29-year-old All-Star also underwent knee surgery this offseason, which will put him on minutes restriction this year.

Sleepers - Centers

Nikola Vucevic isn't getting a lot of attention this year, but fantasy owners should now pick him up in case he is still available after tallying 15 points, 23 rebounds and four blocks in their season opener against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday.

Minnesota Timberwolves sophomore center Gorgui Dieng also deserves a look, especially if Nikola Pekovic fails to stay healthy this season. The former Louisville standout averaged 12.2 points, 12.0 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 15 starts last season when Pekovic was out.
