Whether or not you are a fan of comedian Roseanne Barr, chances are you are familiar with her controversial sense of humor.

The New York Daily News reports that on Wednesday, following a chemical peel treatment, Roseanne Barr, 62, tweeted a photo of her swollen and bloody face with the caption, "Got in a tussle w bill cosby. U shoyld see that mfer."

Barr deleted the tweet within seconds of posting.

Later, she tweeted again.

"Kidding!" the tweet said,

Barr also apologized for the joke.

Breitbart reports that the exchange between Barr and Twitter users following the apology resulted in a barrage of equally off-putting tweets from the Emmy award winner that did nothing in the way of damage control

Cosby, 77, has been making headlines since more than a dozen woman have publicly accused the comedian and actor of sexual assault.

The Daily News asked Barr for her opinion on the allegations last week.

"I don't wanna get sued or have [Cosby] send anyone to beat me up, but I think it's obvious: 13 to 1," she said.

According to her Twitter account, Barr has followed the Cosby allegations closely. She frequently retweets articles about the scandal and occasionally comments on it.

When she isn't creating controversy on social media, Barr hosts a new reality show on Investigation Discovery titled "Momsters." The show focuses on mothers who will do anything, like crossing illegal boundaries, to make their children happy.

"Momsters" premieres on Nov. 28 (10 pm. ET/PT) on Investigation Discovery.
