Bill Cosby has finally come forward to address the recent rape allegations from many women, including supermodel Janice Dickinson, former actress Barbara Bowen, Joan Tarshis, actress Louisa Moritz and many more who claim that Cosby raped, drugged or touched them inappropriately when they were teens.

Despite the allegations and the public backlash he has received, Cosby opted to move forward with his comedy tour in Melbourne, Florida at the King Center for the Performing Arts, CNN reports.

Though he remained silent last week when an NPR reporter asked him a question pertaining to the allegations, Cosby took it upon himself to address the rape allegations backstage, after his Florida performance.

According to Deadline, Cosby told Florida Today that he is aware that "people are tired of me not saying anything, but a guy doesn't have to answer to innuendos. People should fact check. People shouldn't have to go through that and shouldn't answer to innuendos."

Cosby also spoke to Florida Today about his knowledge of a local Florida radio station offering prizes to his performances attendees if they agreed to heckle Cosby during his Florida show.

"The thing is, these people are prodding and pushing people and asking people to have a frat house mentality," he said. "Now suppose someone brings a weapon or decided to do more foolishness. There will be announcements made and the stations made some disclaimers, but what if people don't listen to what they said and they entice violence? That's not good for anyone."

Luckily for Cosby, there were no hecklers during his performance.

In fact, CNN reports that Cosby received two standing ovations during his performance along with a group of women shouting, "We love you, Bill Cosby."

Though NBC has dropped Cosby's comedy pilot and Netflix has canceled Cosby's Thanksgiving Day special, the 77-year-old comedian will continue his comedy tour without a hitch.

CNN reports that Cosby's website "has performance dates listed for almost every single week through May, except for a month-long break around the end of the year."
