Rap is still a veteran's game. Longtime rappers Eminem and Jay-Z have gone platinum once again.

Eminem's first single from his upcoming eighth studio album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, can officially be considered another Slim Shady hit. Last week, "Berzerk" sold 115,000 copies, certifying the single platinum with 1,110,000 copies of the single purchased.

Meanwhile, Jay-Z, one of the most popular veterans still standing in the rap game, has gone double platinum with his single, "Holy Grail." "Holy Grail" comes from Jay-Z's 12th studio album, Magna Carta Holy Grail, which was released July 4.

Veterans aren't the only ones who can sell records, however.

Fellow rapper Drake is starting to know how Eminem and Jay-Z feel at the top. Drake's "Hold On, We're Going Home" also reached platinum status last week with 1,062,000 copies sold. Last week, the single sold 131,000 copies. "Hold On, We're Going Home" appears on Drake's third studio album, Nothing Was the Same, which was released Sept. 20,

On Oct. 8, Eminem released the video for "Survival," another single from MMLP2. "Survival" is also featured on a video game that is probably about as highly-anticipated in the video game world as Eminem's new album is in the rap world: Call of Duty: Ghosts. Eminem's video pays homage to this as the Detroit native spray paints a ghost face on the side of a grungy building while wearing a ghost-esque mask himself. Scenes from the violent video game make appearances in the "Survival" video as well.

The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is expected to be released Nov. 5, the same day as Call of Duty: Ghosts and was produced by Dr. Dre, Rick Rubin and Marshall Mathers himself.
