Eminem is back in full-force. Yesterday, the veteran rapper released a music video for "Survival," the second video from his upcoming album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

"Survival" is also featured on a video game that is probably about as highly-anticipated in the video game world as Eminem's new album is in the rap world: Call of Duty: Ghosts. Eminem's video pays homage to this as Eminem spray paints a ghost face on the side of a grungy building while wearing a ghost-esque mask himself. Scenes from the violent video game make appearances in the "Survival" video as well.

The video is comprised of Shady scrounging around a warehouse building and shots of Eminem performing live. To keep things all in the Shady Records family, the G-Unit logo makes a few cameos. Meanwhile, a drummer is seen playing next to Eminem to emphasize the rock influence that Eminem has experimented with in his two latest singles.

Similar to some of his past singles, "Survival" is themed around perseverance against obstacles. The song is characterized by the do-or-die attitude fans have grown to associate with Marshall Mathers, as well as a splash of his comical writing styles.

"And if there should ever come a time where my life's in a rut/And I look like I might just give up, eh you might've mistook/Me for bowing out I ain't taking a bow, I'm stabbing myself/With a fucking knife in the gut, while I'm wiping my butt/ Cause I just shitted on the mic, and like getting cut," Eminem raps casually atop of hard beats.

The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is expected to be released Nov. 5, the same day as Call of Duty: Ghosts and was produced by Dr. Dre, Rick Rubin and Marshall Mathers himself. A video for "Berzerk," another single from the album, has already been released.
