"Bones" fans have a lot to look forward to when the next episode of the long-running series premieres in March, featuring the return of pop legend Cynid Lauper and Dr. Lance Sweets -- or at least his spirit.

The long awaited episode, entitled "The Psychic in the Soup," will touch upon the subject of death and spirituality as the Jeffersonians commemorate what would have been Sweets' 30th birthday. In addition, resident psychic Avalon Harmonia, played by returning guest star Cyndi Lauper, will claim to have made contact with his spirit. This will cause conflict between Jack Hodgins and Angela, who will get into a debate over spirituality v. science.

Actor T.J. Thyne dropped hints about the tiff between Hodgins and Angela.

"Avalon 'sees' Sweets, which pisses Hodgins off, so Hodgins and Avalon go at it, with Angela caught in the middle. And that gets pretty intense!" said Thyne, according to TVLine.

Meanwhile, Cam will face a moral dilemma after she discovers a secret about intern Rodolfo Fuentes, which he seems anxious to hide. As a result, he will end up quitting his job, reports Screen Spy.

In the build-up to the March 26 return of the series, Fox released the official synopsis of the episode via SpoilerTV, which states:

"The Jeffersonian team, with the help of Angela's psychic friend, Avalon Harmonia (guest star Cyndi Lauper), is drawn into the twisted world of fortune tellers when the body of a local psychic is found decomposing in the trunk of a tree. However, when the team learns more about the victim's personal life, those closest to her become suspects. Meanwhile, Booth and Brennan debate the pros and cons of Christine's new imaginary friend and the team remembers Sweets on his birthday."

"Bones" will return on Thursday, March 26 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
