The stage has been set in participating venues for the Rockstar Mayhem Festival, which will officially be kicking of the first leg of its tour on June 26 at the Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, California.

As reported on Loudwire, this annual tour will feature Slayer, King Diamond, Hellyeah and The Devil Wears Prada on the Main Stage. There has been no word yet as to how many stages the tour will officially feature, but last year there were four stages and, in previous years, there have been three. On the website, it shows two stages, but that could change.

"I don't know if the third time will be a charm, but it will definitely be hellish," said Slayer guitarist Kerry King. "Slayer and King Diamond onstage for the first time together in the States -- never has Mayhem been more evil. Don't f-in' miss it!"

King was referring to this being the band's third time to join the annual tour.

In an article on Metal Injection, it's been reported that Slayer will likely be featuring some new music on this tour, along with their older tracks that have given the band so much fame.

Tickets for this event go on sale on April 17 at 10 a.m. local time, depending on what venue you are choosing to attend. For a complete list of venues and more information about the locations, check out the Rockstar Mayhem Festival official website.

The Mayhem festival has been going on since 2008. In the past seven years, the main stage has been graced with the likes of Rob Zombie, Disturbed, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Korn, Disturbed, Godsmack, Megadeth, Avenged Sevenfold and Five Finger Death Punch.

In 2014, the event held four stages, which were able to feature 20 bands. For a complete list of the bands appearing this year, check out the Metal Injection article.
