Save the date. Feb. 14, 2014 signals the return of the Netflix Original Series House of Cards. The second season has been widely anticipated since the very day the first season premiered online Feb. 1, 2013. All the episodes were released at the same time -- quite an unconventional approach for the TV industry, which is accustomed to weekly episode releases and mid-season, breaks. Like Breaking Bad, eager viewers binge watched all 13 episodes of the first season in just a few nights.

What can fans expect from the David Fincher produced series this time around? It turns out more of the same. And that's a good thing of course with a political drama as captivating and intriguing as House of Cards. Celebified caught up with actress Sakina Jaffrey (Chief of Staff Linda Vasquez) and asked her what to expect. While Jaffrey didn't provide any specifics her enthusiasm for the show was clear.

"Surprisingly thrilling," she said. "I thought we'd have to keep the pace slow just because it's so mind-boggling what happened last year, but it's just as crazy."

Jaffrey also responded to a question regarding whether or not the crew "dives back in" after the first season, where she states:

"Oh my God. The first episode I said 'What? No way.'"

Netflix's Chief Content Officer, Ted Sarandos had this to say concerning rumors the show was going to end after season two.

"Our intent is that the show keeps going," he stated during his keynote speech at the 9th Annual Film Independent Forum in Los Angeles this weekend. "It was a 26-episode commitment. It was not our intent that it would just run for two seasons."

"'House of Cards' is only going to go a second season and I think that's it," Cleveland told Gold Derby. "Kevin Spacey likes to do movies and Robin Wright likes to do movies," he added.

Checkout the season two synopsis below courtesy of Dark Horizons News and Netflix:
