Walt Disney is coming out with another funny animated film, "Inside Out," in June. While not too many details are known about the film, reports have said that many are eager to watch the latest animated offering from Pixar. Before it hits the theaters in the next few weeks, here are some of the things we know so far about the upcoming movie.

"Inside Out" follows the story of 11-year-old Riley as she adjusts to life after her family relocates to San Francisco from Minnesota. It will revolve around the five emotions battling inside her head - Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger.

Comedians Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling Phyllis Smith, Bill Hader and Lews Black lent their voices to the movie as the five emotions that Riley will be dealing with throughout the film.

Pete Docter directed the movie with Ronnie del Carmen. Docter is no stranger to animated films as he was also the person behind the box-office hits "Up" and "Monsters Inc."

In an interview with Screen Rant, the filmmaker revealed that the story of "Inside Out" was inspired by his experience with his daughter Ellie.

"Well the way it kind of worked I would just kind of like observe her as opposed to really engage her," admitted Docter. "Because I don't know that even she knew kind of what was going on in there. I know I didn't at that age, you know, you're just kind of experiencing it and thing happen to you it almost feels."

While the movie seemed funny in the trailer, animator Victor Navone revealed that it is perhaps one of the most emotional Pixar films ever made.

Producer Jonas Rivera echoed this sentiment in his talk with Screen Rant.

"There's something about this movie and about memories and honoring that. But also the fact that you can't always be eight years old," said Rivera.

While the two primary emotions in the film are Joy and Sadness, it was originally intended that Riley's second major emotion is Fear.

"So many of my decisions were based on the fear of what people might notice or not," said the producer to Cinema Blend. "In a sense, fear is an anchor and joy is going to pull him forward, right? So it felt truthful."

However, further development in the script led the team to consider sadness as they focus on one's loss of childhood and passage to adulthood.

Docter also pitched the idea of including the movie "Inside Out" in the Walt Disney theme park in Florida.

"Thirty minutes after the pitch I was like, 'This needs to be at Epcot,'" said the director. He added that they opened the idea to the people in the park and he expressed his hope that something could be worked out in the future.

"Inside Out" will hit theaters on June 19, 2015.
