Mickey Madden of the Grammy-winning band Maroon 5 is seeking a buyer for his home in Los Feliz.

The bassist of the band famed for "She Will Be Loved" and "Payphone," among others, has listed his California property for $2,995,000, the Los Angeles Times reported. Madden bought the home in 2005 for only $2 million.

The contemporary home built in the 1960s boasts the design of the famous Texas-born architect who grew up in California, Craig Ellwood. The Madden residence was also known as "The Moore House," noted NCMordernist.org

Based on the description of the home, which The Times provided, the property has a sleek and modern appeal. The 1,700-square-foot Los Angeles residence of the 36-year-old guitar player also has three bedrooms, an extra room that can serve as a bedroom, a personal gym or even a storage room, two bathrooms, a dining area, a living room, and a kitchen. The modern home sitting on nearly one-third of an acre displays a beautiful garden and various grown trees. A koi pond also provides a relaxing treat for the next owners.

The listing is handled by real estate agent, Aaron Kirman of John Aaroe Group, the same agent who represented Madden when he bought the home, the Times added, citing Multiple Listing Service.

Kirman, who already sold over $2.5 billion worth of properties as an agent, is still elated that he gets to handle the listing of this famous Ellwood-designed property.

"Moore house is an especially important example of Ellwood's work. It's an honor to be representing such a significant piece of history," Kirman said in a statement provided by the John Aaroe Group.

In the statement, it was also noted that Ellwood's style in designing homes is "to create minimalist homes that aimed to maximize space and sunlight" and in the Moore House, its was superbly executed. The house, which utilized materials like steel and glass, is described as "exceptional for its subtlety and simplicity."

Photos of the home, which was originally commissioned for Intel co-founder Gordon Moore, are featured on LA Home and Style. A rectangular house is shown elevated in a natural-themed surroundings. The Moore House can be appropriately described as almost glassy with its spanning windows running at the both the longer sides of the home. With such architectural detail, indoor-outdoor living is truly felt as one views the surrounding gardens from the inner living space of the home.

At night, sweeping views of the city will then provide a romantic and wonderful experience for the next owners.
