J.J. Abrams is known for creating some of primetime's most memorable series. Yesterday, Abrams discussed the possibility of bringing some of these popular shows back as big screen adaptations.

During the NBC TCA Press Tour, Abrams revealed that he would be interested in working with the people behind Alias again, but that an Alias movie is not necessary.

"I feel like we did the 'Alias' movie in doing the show, but I would consider working with everyone involved in that show again on anything," he said.

Meanwhile, Keri Russell will not be turning back time and becoming a college student again to reprise her role as Felicity Porter. Although Abrams joked "Yes, that's in the works," Russell has moved on to new projects.

"You get 'The Americans' off, and I'll talk to Keri about it," he said.

Russell has starred in FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys since 2013.

Meanwhile, Lost, one of the most complicated series to ever hit primetime, is not likely to see a revival.

"I definitely feel that the work that [executive producers] Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse did on 'Lost,' how do you do more cinematic work than that?" Abrams explained.

In fact, Abrams is so distant from Lost these days that he is not even sure he can attend the show's 10th anniversary special at the Paley Festival. Abrams does, however, hope he will be able to attend the March event.

Don't be too sad that Abrams' shows will not be making it to the big screen because there is still some hope in the small screen. Abrams has a new show called Believe premiering on NBC on March 16.

"There's a spiritual side of the show that's very deep, but we're not 'Touched by an Angel,'" Abrams said.

The show stars Johnny Sequoyah as Bo, a young female with superpowers, and Jake McLaughlin as her escaped convict protector.
