Prolific filmmaker Mike Medavoy is offering his Beverly Hills estate on the market.

The 74-year-old entertainment mogul, credited for making the Oscar-nominated film, "Black Swan," has listed his Los Angeles home for $15 million, according to Variety, citing Celebrity Address Aerial.

The veteran film creator purchased the California home for only $8.2 million in 2013 in a hush and off-market transaction that time, noted Variety. Thus, in just after two years, the renowned producer nearly doubled the price of his property, giving him a cool profit once a deal is closed.

The 8,829-square-foot home the film producer owns with his wife, Irena, includes seven bedrooms and eight and a half bathrooms. The newly-renovated private home, located in the neighborhood of several famous Hollywood stars, is resting on a 1.85-acre L.A. county lot.

The two-story home boasts interior designs inspired from the famous fashion designer and billionaire, Ralph Lauren. Notable features include several French doors, an airy ambiance courtesy of high ceilings and use of trendy materials like marble lining a wet bar.

The expansive dwelling place also displays a double-height foyer, a formal living room, a dining room, a family room, a chef kitchen equipped with a breakfast area, a study room, a media room, a wrap-around terrace, a staff bedroom equipped with bath, a laundry area, and a three-car garage.

Guests staying for a night or more may occupy four spacious bedrooms designated for that purpose. The hosts or the next owners of the house will feel relaxed staying in their own master suite that comes with a lavish private bathroom, a personal fireplace to keep the room comfortable during chilly nights and a direct access to a terrace to view the beautiful skyline during very early mornings and even at night. The suite also features a pair of walk-in closets for a well-kept and convenient storage of clothes and other personal items like fashion accessories or prized jewelries.

The extensive lush grounds display proud trees but also boast an outdoor entertainment area that includes the swimming pool, a spa, and a nearby barbecue nook.

Property hunters may get in touch with Coldwell Banker, the real estate firm that handles the listing for the Medavoy home.

Hollywood Reporter noted that before Medavoy acquired the East Coast-themed home, the film producer, who made around more than 300 films, used to live in a relatively smaller home but still larger than the common abodes. Medavoy reportedly lived in a 5,400-square-foot East Gate Bel Air area residence and a 6,200-square-foot abode in Trousdale Estates.
