Former Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom is offering his Florida home on the rental market.

The NBA free agent's Pinecrest property is now for lease for $20,000 a month, Los Angeles Times reported. The basketball player commissioned Judy Zeder of EWM Realty International to handle the listing.

This is not the first time the Miami-area property was offered for lease by Odom as it was available for the price of $14,000 per month in 2011 and for $17,000 in 2013, added the Times.

Odom purchased the property in 2003 and during that time, he played for the Heat until the 2004 NBA season. His stay in the team was only short-lived, however, as he found himself beckoned by the familiar L.A. vibe. In 2004 to 2011, he played with the Lakers.

Even though he was with the Lakers in California, the Dallas Mavericks from 2011 to 2012 and the Clippers from 2012 to 2013, he still did not part with his Pinecrest property. Perhaps, the location holds a special place in his heart.

"I became a better player and a better man in Miami. I grew up a lot," Odom told Sports Illustrated.

Odom managed to average 17.1 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 4.1 assists, while at the Heat, compared to 14.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists during his fourth season with the Clippers.

The 8,557-square-foot home, which witnessed Odom's transformation, features notable architectural details like a grand entry via a two-story foyer that comes with fresco ceilings, pillars and intricately-designed staircases.

The property, constructed nearly 13 years ago, includes six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Other living spaces that are found within the residence are a kitchen that comes with two islands and entertainment areas like a home theater, a billiards room and a wet bar.

The lessees will find a master suite that displays a huge tub for a relaxing bath.

The Florida home grounds are highlighted with grown palm trees, a patio, an outdoor kitchen and a pool with an elevated spa. Basketball enthusiasts will also like the lighted basketball court featured on the property.
