There's a danger that Jemma Simmons, a beloved character of the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D," could become a great threat to the Inhumans.

The series ended last season with Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) being swallowed by the Kree monolith. The cliffhanger stirred a buzz among its fans and led to several questions on Quora such as "Is Simmons an Inhuman descendant?"

A fan on Overmental thinks Simmons is an Inhuman, too, because it reacted against her, given the nature of the artifact to be dangerous to their kind. Another theory of one reader on the site, Arethia, states that Simmons may be a threat to the Inhumans since it has sensed her "dislike" of "Powered People" and it will make her a weapon against them. That is indeed a sound theory because she would probably have survived instead of being destroyed by it, as she will be returning next season.

The monolith could also have done something crucial in her as she could have only been recovered after a long period of time, as teased by Chloe Bennet on Entertainment Weekly.

"There's been such a big time gap, so one of the main focuses is that some of the characters have almost -- not given up, but have been like, 'We've tried everything.' Fitz is that one person who's like, 'Not everything!'" Bennet said.

With that, Simmons could also be a danger to S.H.I.E.L.D itself, given that Daisy Johnson (Bennet) is an agent of the organization and an Inhuman too, as revealed in the course of the series. Other than that, Phil Coulson tasked Bennet to look for other Inhumans, as shown on last season's finale.

For followers of the romance between Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Simmons, executive producer Jeffrey Bell hints on Variety that there'll be "some really intriguing stories" between the two, especially they were just talking about a dinner date when Simmons was captured by the Kree monolith.

Meanwhile, Marvel already confirmed that the third season will revolve around the comic book series "Secret Warriors," as reported by another article from Variety. Meaning, it could focus on the team of young gifted people seen in the comics led by Daisy Johnson/Quake, as supervised by Nick Fury, noted Comic Book.

Does this mean that the Academy Award-nominated actor Samuel L. Jackson will be appearing again next season to play Fury? Basing from Gregg's recent interview, Fury may really have a cameo.

"I think we'll expose some more of them [Inhumans]. The whole world of SHIELD has become more fluid and changing, and Nick Fury's out there," Gregg told iO9.
