Jacksonville Jaguars rookie quarterback Blake Bortles has purchased a beach home in Florida.

The 23-year-old NFL athlete bought the Jacksonville oceanfront estate in July for $1.5 million, Realtor.com reports.

The "move in ready" property must have enticed the football player into acquiring the home. Bortles would have been busy in training to worry much about designing his house or adding stuff into it. The abode comes with appliances like dishwasher, disposer, ice maker-refrigerator, microwave oven, range, electric refrigerator, self cleaning oven and a washer with a dryer.

The property listing was handled by Lea Underwood of Berkshire Hathaway HS Florida Network Realty.

More home features

The Atlamonte Springs native is a proud owner of a 2503-square-foot home, which includes three bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Other notable features of the three-story estate are two outside showers, a two-car garage, a hidden storage for beach toys, a walk-in wine storage and a great room that serves as a kitchen and a family area.

Aside from the beach access, the Florida residence boasts an open floor plan that creates an airy and cozy ambiance for the new owners and amazing panoramic views courtesy of the bay windows.

A superstar in the making?

Bortles inked a $20.6 million contract last year, accordng to NFL.com. The University of Central Florida alumnus knew that he needed to prove his worth in the team.

"It's been huge, the amount of growth that's happened, the amount of more knowledge I know, I'm trying to get better each and every day and trying to improve what I can do," Bortles said in a statement posted on the Jaguars' official web site.

Although some reports opined that Bortles still has a lot to improve, IcyBulletGaming said that based on a scrimmage video on August 8, his "downfield accuracy" is already in place.

The quarterback was also praised by former teammate Cecil Shorts, per his interview with ESPN's radio man, Jayson Braddock.
