The new horror-comedy series "Scream Queens" is slated to debut on Fox this month on Sept. 22.

Fans of the highly anticipated horror show, a product of "American Horror Story" creator Ryan Murphy, can now watch the opening title sequence for the show, which boasts an '80s-style theme and mixes horror in with the laughs, according to People.

The series is unique due to its sheer list of modern talent that will be fronted by Emma Roberts as well as the original Scream Queen, Jamie Lee Curtis.

The series take place on a college campus at a sorority house that features the theme of a slasher gore fest mixed in with dark comedy.

"The show is a hybrid of wickedly funny and incredibly scary story telling set in a sorority house on a college campus," Curtis told People. "I play the dean, creates this scenario of mayhem by forcing the sorority to accept anyone who wants to become a member."

This of course means stars like Roberts, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Lea Michele and Ariana Grande will all make their screaming debut when they get hunted down by the menacing killer who's sole purpose is to commit mass-murder.

"I feel like we got very lucky," Michele told People about the filming process with her famous co-stars. "Everyone is unique and has a real sense of who they are. That eliminates a lot of competitiveness that might have come into the process."

What fans already know is the show is going to be a major kill-them-all kind of series that will transition to a Season 2, assuming there will be a Season 2, with what the few survivors have to deal with after the ordeal is over.

Even though the premiere is still a few weeks away, fans of the upcoming series can check out the new opening title sequence for the show below.
