Apple has recently launched their iPhone 6S and 6S Plus; yet, another device is rumored to have emerged online, and it involves their line of iPad Air.

According to Phone Arena, the surprising absence of the iPad Air 3 after Apple's iPad Pro and iPad Mini 4 were introduced came as a surprise and consumers can't help asking if there's going to be an iPad Air 3 coming.

Apparently, the speculations online were backed up with the rumored iPad's specs, which consist of a 9.7-inch screen display with an increased resolution of 2334 x 3112.

Additional specs for the iPad Air 3 include an eight-megapixel primary camera and a 2.1-megapixel secondary camera. Its internal storage comes in three variations from 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB.

Compared to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, the rumored iPad Air 3 will be thinner and will measure about 15 millimeters in thickness. If the said gadget indeed has an IP certification, consumers are assured of a waterproof device for the new iPad Air 3.

Apple is not on top of the list when it comes to waterproof gadgets, but their Apple Watch has an IPX7 rating, which means that it can be submerged in water for up to 3.2 feet for 30 minutes and will still emerge functional.

The iPad Air 3's battery is also said to be lighter than that of the iPad Air 2, which consists of 7,340 mAH. The reason behind the concept is the possibility of creating the gadget on a waterproof profile as well as thinner body structure.

Despite Apple's strategic schedule of releasing their products, wherein their iPhone line comes first followed by their Macs and iPads, it looks like the iPad Air 3 will have its own stage this time, according to a report from Know Your Mobile

Even though the said iPad gadget is rumored to release in October, Apple hasn't released any confirmation about the product nor its apparent release date on the market. Its price also remains to be seen as the specs indicated are all unverified without any clear indication if it was a teaser from Apple or not.

Apple recently joined the trend of gaming TV wherein they launched their Apple TV, a likely gaming console that will compete with big names such as Microsoft's Xbox and Sony's PlayStation. Apple TV also features games such as "Galaxy on Fire," "Rayman Adventures" and "Disney Infinity."
