"Fear The Walking Dead" has been brought out of its infancy, and the reasons behind the decline of civilization are becoming more apparent. In Episode 5, Madison and her people soon become less naïve about their situation.

According to TV Guide, the episode is titled "Cobalt" and will air on cable network AMC next Sunday, Sept. 27 at 9 p.m. EDT.

Most of the descriptions for the episode are fairly vague, but there are some key factors to the previous episode that could fill in the gaps. According to Spoilers Guide, the National Guard are slowly tipping their hand as to who or what they have now become.

Since the revelations from the last episode occurred, Travis and Madison become hip to what the National Guard has evolved into. Their true plan for the neighborhood quarantine has been revealed and there might not be any way to escape.

But that won't stop Madison and Travis from making a full-hearted attempt to save their people. They will make a difficult decision for their group, one that may leave a few people dead in the process.

What fans saw last week is that Travis was never truly trusting of the military presence to start with given his past experience with a few of their own claims. According to Forbes, that back knowledge may just be the thing that saves all of their lives.

Madison is also the one who discovered all of the bodies of people who were executed in the street, bodies that had no signs of infection to start with. This of course leads her to believe that the military is not just instituting a quarantine but rather executing an extermination protocol of some sort.

This of course is what leads them to their actions in Episode 5, and there is bound to be some severe repercussions for the group when they finally make their stand or attempt their escape.
