Taylor Swift is leading the pack in the recently announced 2015 American Music Awards nominations.

The 25-year-old singer has earned six nominations this year, including Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Pop/Rock Artist, Favorite Pop/Rock Album for "1989," Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist, Song of the Year for "Blank Space," and Collaboration of the Year for "Bad Blood" with Kendrick Lamar, according to Billboard.

Other artists racking up nods for the awards show include Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd with five nominations each. Both artists will be going up against Swift in the Song of the Year category, with Swift's "Blank Space" competing against Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" and Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face." In addition, the artists will face competition from Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again" featuring Charlie Puth and Mark Ronson, and Bruno Mars' "Uptown Funk."

All three singers are also up for the Artist of the Year category. Additional artists who have been nominated for Artist of the Year include Luke Bryan, Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, Nicki Minaj, One Direction, Sam Smith and Meghan Trainor. The race will be narrowed down to five nominees after fan votes are tallied.

Sam Hunt, Minaj, Smith, Trainor and Walk the Moon received three nominations apiece. Those who only earned two nominations include Jason Aldean, Chris Brown, Bryan, Drake, Fetty Wap, Florida Georgia Line, Grande, Maroon 5, Mars, One Direction, Puth, Rihanna, Ronson and Khalifa.

Fans can start voting for each category on Nov. 1 once per day and per platform. Voting ends on Nov. 11.

Performers and presenters for the awards show will be announced at a later date.

This year's American Music Awards will be hosted by Jennifer Lopez. The show will broadcast live from the Los Angeles Microsoft Theater on Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
