League of Legends has finally announced that the All-Star event will be hosted in Paris, France on Thursday, May 8 through Sunday, May 11 in the Le Zenith Arena, a concert arena that is one of the largest venues in Paris. Keep reading to find out about several changes that have taken place in this year's event.

Firstly, there is going to be two events. That's right, there are two All-Star events this year: an invitational and the All-Star Challenge. The All-Star Invitational is the main event, bringing all of the regional winners together for a five team match-up in a group play stage. The top four will move on to the best of three semifinals and the winners of that will meet in a best of five final, battling it out for the $50,000 grand prize!

Now, the All-Star Challenge will be taking place at the beginning of every competition day and the players will be able to watch the All-Star Challenge. What is the All-Star Challenge? It is a series of games that features a mix of two regional rosters where the players will be able to pick two pros from their region to play as well as have a say in what modes that the pros have to play in! The voting for that opens on March 30.

With all these changes, a great location and dedicated fans, this year's All-Star event should be a total knock out and filled with fun events where we will find out which region truly is the best. Tickets will be on sale soon so hurry up and buy them before the tickets are completely sold out and you miss out on the biggest event in League of Legends this year.
