Former light welterweight champion Amir Khan is still eyeing a fight with eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao but also remains open to facing other worthy opponents like World Boxing Association title holder Keith Thurman, World Boxing Organization champ Timothy Bradley and International Boxing Federation titlist Kell Brook.

"King Khan" describes the possible bout with "Pacman" as something huge, so he is still not closing his doors for it but he also will not waste much of his time waiting for it to materialize, like what he did for Floyd Mayweather Jr. last year, Boxing News noted. The undefeated Mayweather eventually chose former champion Andre Berto for his 49th bout at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas on Sept. 12.

"It's a good fight for me and I know it's a big fight. Fight fans want the fight. But it seems to me that [I'm] waiting around and I don't want to be in the same position as I was against Floyd Mayweather. I'd been promised the fight, then it didn't happen. To be honest with you I've just left it with my team, I am looking at other opponents at the same time. If it doesn't happen I've got plan B," Khan said.

Just recently, Khan told The National that he is withdrawing talks on the proposed fight with the Filipino pride.

"I have pulled out of the negotiations. I am no longer fighting Manny Pacquiao," the 28-year-old boxer said.

Khan reportedly decided to pull from the proposed fight talks because he felt the other camp is stalling, especially the only thing that's left to do, the British boxer claimed, is to just actually sign the contract. The U.K.-born warrior also thinks that Team Pacquiao may also be waiting a go signal from Mayweather, who defeated "Pacman" in May via a unanimous decision, per BoxRec, if they could stage a rematch.

However, this recent interview with Boxing News just shows he is not entirely walking away from the warrior Khan describes as "the biggest name in boxing at the moment." He just wants to keep his options open.

The World Boxing Council Silver Welterweight title holder's "plan B" includes fighting with other warriors who currently hold welterweight titles in various sanctioning bodies, Boxing Scene noted, citing his interview with ESPN Deportes.

The Bolton native shares that he would love a showdown with Bradley because he likes his style. Khan reportedly believes a clash with the undefeated boxer, "One Time," will also be a "good fight," whereas colliding with his fellow British warrior, Brook, will generate a great spectacle in their hometown.
