In a surprising turn of events, Democratic Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders turned the tables on his comedy impersonator Larry David when he appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Wednesday night.

According to Deadline, Sanders had one of the classiest responses to a comedy impersonation of himself, which Hollywood has classically done for candidates running for president, most notably on NBC's "Saturday Night Live."

Kimmel was interviewing the Vermont senator live on his show on Wednesday when the comedian just had to ask him what he thought about Larry David's impersonation of him last week on "Saturday Night Live" by Larry David.

Sanders, in his cool and calm demeanor, slowly etched out the perfect response to Kimmel's question.

"Well, I thought it was pretty, pretty... pretty good!" Sanders comically replied followed by the theme song for "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

For those who do not know, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is a semi-autobiographical but mostly fictionalized account of Larry David's life after his hit show, "Seinfeld."

In "Curb," David is well known for drawing out his description of something with the intensifier word "pretty" being repeated many times when he says it.

So in essence, Sanders response to what he thought of David's impersonation of him was in fact, an impersonation of David.

As many of you may already know, David did a spot-on impersonation of Sanders last Saturday on "Saturday Night Live." He comically expounded on Sanders voracious enthusiasm to rally the working-class into taking up his cause to decrease the staggering wage gaps and the unfair division of wealth that has gone to the upper one percent of wealthiest Americans.

He also played up Sanders rally to make college free for all Americans who want to go to a public institution. But the skit would not have been complete if he did not at least touch on Sanders crashing Hillary Clinton's email question.
