World Boxing Council Silver welterweight titlist Amir Khan remains firm on his condition for fellow British boxer Kell Brook. Brook must prove his worth by colliding against great boxers so that they can make their proposed Khan-Brook fight a huge success.

"King Khan" is not satisfied with Brook's choice of opponents even if the "The Special One" has an unblemished record after 35 fights, per BoxRec, or that he is the current International Boxing Federation welterweight king. These statistics and honor are not just enough for Khan as he wants Brook to battle with high-caliber boxers, too, BBC Sport noted.

"My body's taken all the wear and tear where I'm fighting the best fighters in the world and he's not even fighting half of them," Khan said.

"I want him to prove himself so it's a big fight, we go into the ring 50-50 and it's a massive fight not only for Great Britain but around the world," the boxer added.

Khan's willingness to share the earnings from the fight equally may motivate Brook to finally heed his call. It is a great act from Khan to offer it this way as he can actually ask for a higher share, since he is the more famous boxer in U.K., per Boxing News 24.

This demand from Khan has already been going on for quite some time now, and Brook should step up his game to meet Khan's condition.

This means, Brook must find a bigger name in boxing than Diego Chaves, whom Khan is not impressed with, per a Boxing Scene report.

Meanwhile, Brook-Chaves scheduled fight on Oct. 24 was postponed because Brook sustained a rib injury, The Guardian noted.

Yet, after this fight, Brook seems keen on clashing with today's elite boxers, Sky Sports noted.

"I believe when I am at 100 percent, there is no one who can touch me. Manny Pacquiao, [Danny] Garcia, [Keith] Thurman, [Shawn] Porter, [Timothy] Bradley - all of them are in my sights now. All the elite-level fighters with the massive names and who are great fighters themselves," Brook said.

Khan's persistent prodding on Brook must have worked after all.

On the other hand, Khan is still waiting for the eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao's decision if he will be his opponent for the Filipino boxer's farewell fight.

Based on his interview with BBC Sport, Khan is confident his chances are higher than other candidates.

If Khan's fight against "Pacman" is sealed and Brook faces and wins against a top notch boxer, the Khan-Brook bout will truly be more exciting.
