Marvel Studios has finally revealed the concept art of the highly anticipated blockbuster, Guardians of the Galaxy, as well as adorable Minimates of the characters in the upcoming film.

The Disney subsidiary has shared artwork from all three of its "Phase Two" comic book adaptations, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man and GOTG, which are currently in the writing and production stage. They were featured in ABC's Marvel Studio: Assembling a Universe documentary that gave fans a glimpse of concept art being used by filmmakers to get their desired look for the movies.

While a selection of test footage from Edgar Wright's Ant-Man shows the tiny protagonist in action, the Guardians concept art includes an image of Rocket Raccoon, the CGI creature set to be voice by Bradley Cooper.

In addition, Marvel just released the first official photos of very cute Minimates, which were previewed at New York Toy Fair last month. There are eight two-inch figures, and the line-up will be split into four two-packs that break down as: Star-Lord with Ronan the Accuser, Drax with Groot, Gamora with a Nova Corps Centurion and Nebula with a Sakaaran Trooper. Rocket Raccoon is not on the list because he is considered a non-poseable micro-figure. You can change parts and accessories between the Minimates. You can also pre-order all the Guardians sets from a comic shop near you.

Guardians of the Galaxy is scheduled to hit theaters on Aug. 1, 2014.
