Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are intent on making their love last by making sure they spend as much time apart as they can.

"There's no doubt they love each other and really are best friends, but they're careful not to spend too much time together," a source told OK magazine.

Stated rules between the newlywed couple are rumored to include the stipulation that they spend no more than four hours together on any given day

"They just enjoy their own space," a source said. "They actually get along better when they're on separate coasts. They flirt by text and love to send each other pictures of their wedding rings."

Even when they are together, word is there are times when the two prefer to sleep separately in order to accommodate vastly different bedtime rituals.

"Justin likes to read in bed, watch TV, browse the Internet and send emails -- often all at the same time," a source said. "He drives Jen nuts when she's trying to get some sleep."

Despite all the rules and quirks in their union, Theroux recently described their marriage as "fantastic" and testified to how happy he's become since they walked down the aisle.

"It does feel different," he told reporters. "I'm very happy. It's nice to be able to look down and see a new piece of jewelry on my finger."

The two were married in a secret ceremony at their Bel-Air home this sumer, with guests being told they were attending a birthday party for Theroux. Later, the two honeymooned on the island of Bora Bora with friends and family.

Among the 75 or so guests at the ceremony were Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, Lisa Kudrow, Chelsea Handler, Jason Bateman, Jimmy Kimmel and Tobey Maguire.
