One Direction released their new song, titled "End of the Day," on Monday.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the English-Irish pop boy band from London opens the song with the lyrics "Just me, her, and the moon." The song goes on to detail two people in love, as they ignore anyone who wants to tear them apart.

The song's chanting chorus includes the lyrics "All I know at the end of the day / Is you want what you want, and you say what you say. / And you follow your heart, even though it'll break sometimes."

As the song goes on, the group sings of the ways in which "love can be frightening," comparing the experience to the devil, the flu and a lightning storm. However, the song is not anti-love by any means. The lyrics just explore the many potential outcomes of love.

Back in March, member Zayn Malik left the group. Around that same time, the band began working on their upcoming album, "Made in the A.M."

Previously, rumors spread that the group was planning on breaking up, but band member Niall Horan put those claims to rest in August in a Twitter post.

"We are not splitting up, but we will be taking a well-earned break at some point next year," he tweeted. "Don't worry though, we still have lots to achieve! Can't wait for you to hear all the new music we have for you and to perform some new songs at the tor [sic] continues! Love you all xx."

One Direction is set to release their fifth studio album, "Made in the A.M.," on Friday, Nov. 13. So far, they have released the singles "Drag Me Down," "Perfect," "Infinity" and "History" from the upcoming offering.
