During the recent launch of her Hippie foundation, Miley Cyrus talked about her sexuality and hinted that she might be bisexual.

Cyrus' newly launched Hippie Foundation is an organization that aims to help homeless and LGBT youth.

While speaking with The Associated Press about her foundation, Cyrus also revealed that she doesn't solely identify as heterosexual, explaining that not all her past relationships were "straight, heterosexual" ones.

Though Cyrus did not elaborate on her statement, the Mirror UK suggested that Cyrus might be bisexual.

When asked to explain her reason behind helping the LGBT and homeless youth, Cyrus explained that she wanted to use her celebrity status and position of power for the greater good.

"The position I'm in, I feel like I've got a lot of power," Cyrus explained. "But so many kids don't feel that way. They're under their parents' rule."

The Associated Press reports that more than 1.6 million of the nation's youth are homeless and 40 percent of America's young people identify as LGBT.

Because of the large percentage of homeless and LGBT youth in the U.S., Cyrus hopes to use her shock value in the music industry to bring more attention to her charitable cause.

"When you have all eyes on you, what are you saying? And that's what I had to ask myself a lot," she said. "It's like, I know you're going to look at me more if my (breasts) are out, so look at me. And then I'm going to tell you about my foundation for an hour and totally hustle you," Cyrus said.

In a separate interview with Out, Cyrus talked about her Hippe Foundation and also revealed that she identifies as genderqueer.

"I didn't want to be a boy," she told Out, adding, "I kind of wanted to be nothing. I don't relate to what people would say defines a girl or a boy, and I think that's what I had to understand: Being a girl isn't what I hate, it's the box that I get put into."

Following her Out interview, Cyrus took to Instagram and posted an Instagrab photo from Daily Dot to address her statement adding that "nothing" will define her and she chooses to be free in all aspects of her life.
