Latinas brought class, style and sophistication to the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night.

Modern Family's Sofia Vergara always knows how to work the red carpet -- even if she thinks she's wearing "a tent!" The 41-year-old Colombian bombshell looked gorgeous in a sophisticated, black Zac Posen gown. "I feel like I'm carrying a tent!" the actress told E! Online.

Vergara, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries, or TV Movie, lost out to Jacqueline Bisset, Dancing on the Edge (other contenders in this category included: Janet McTeer, The White Queen, Hayden Panettiere, Nashville and Monica Potter, Parenthood).

After wowing fans with her classy Zac Posen gown on the red carpet, Vergara slipped into something a little lot more revealing for the Golden Globe after parties, E! Online pointed out.

What did Vergara do to prepare for the Golden Globes? She ate chocolate cake while getting her hair and make-up done. The comical actress posted a snap on WhoSay with the caption: "Last minute chocolatecake," the Daily Mail reports.

Domincan-American actress, Zoe Saldana, wore a black gown from Prabal Gurung's spring 2014 collection, "complete with hand-embroidered Swarovski crystals and painted brush strokes." However, some critics said the Star Trek beauty's gown was "overdesigned, over-the-top and totally underwhelming," and unfortunately, she made some of the "worst dressed" lists.

Parks and Recreation actress/comedian Aubrey Plaza, who is of Puerto Rican and Irish and English decent, kept it "simple and feminine" in a gown by Dominican designer Oscar de la Renta.

Brazilian model and designer Camila Alves stunned in a black, sparkling sequin gown by Dolce & Gabbana, the line her Golden Globe award-winning husband Matthew McConaughey also wore for the night.
